Prof. Vukić awarded the Golden Plaque by the Faculty Council
 

According to the decision of the Council of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, prof. Zoran Vukić was awarded the GOLDEN PLAQUE "Josip Lončar" for the academic year 2010./2011. for 

significant enhancment of the academia and scientific advances in the area of underwater systems and technologies, and especially for strengthening the Faculty's research potential and successful competition in the European research area.

For the paper “Geometric Primitives-Based AUV Path Planning In Cluttered Waterspaces”, presented at the IFAC Conference on Control Applications in Marine Systems (14-17.09. 2010., Warnemünde, Germany), M. Barišić was awarded the Best Student Paper Award.

Prof. Zoran Vukić was awarded by the Rector of the University of Zagreb for successfully competing in the European Research Area, and his contribution to the strengthening of the research potential of the University of Zagreb. The award was given at the ceremonial session of the Senate held on Tuesday November 3^rd2009 in the Rector’s Hall, University of Zagreb upon celebration of 340 years of the University of Zagreb. The same award was given also to project coordinators of two other REGPOT projects: T-Pot andSOLeNeMaR (Prof. Sandra Bischof-Vukušić and Prof. Miroslav Požek).
